High Output Hybrid System

The Hybridos system has been specifically designed by AIC to incorporate a Heat pump in buildings that typically don't allow for a standard heat pump installation. The Hybridos is solution adresses the difficulties in upgrading older, existing buildings, and can also be used in new build applications and those which have a high demand heating system. The system consists of: an Aurax Eco heat pump combined with a high-power condensing boiler (single or cascade), managed by a Thermal Management Unit (TMU) - thermal control unit with integrated stratified stainless steel storage tank.

Complete efficiency and continuity of service

The AIC Hybridos System is one of few high-power multi-energy hybrid systems available which is capable of providing both heating and domestic hot water for installations that require high temperature heating and hot water, always using the most convenient energy source.

The presence of 2 heat sources and advanced system management TMU ensures that the most ecological heat source according to atmospheric conditions is used, and also ensures continuity of service in the event of peak demands or maintenance of one of the two units.

TMU – the heart of the system

The TMU – Thermal Management Unit is the heart of the Hybridos AIC system, a single product with a dual function: a stratified stainless steel thermal storage with integrated Energy Manager regulator which manages and optimises the different heat sources in the most efficient and convenient way: heat pump and/or condensing boiler.

In addition to controlling the heat source, the TMU manages up to 3 fixed point or mixed climate circuits and a domestic hot water circuit, when installed with a DHW cylinder.
