Aurax Natural i 29.1-370.3

High efficiency and ecological R290 inverter reversible air/water heat pump

Aurax Natural i 29.1 ÷ 370.3 is an innovative high-efficiency reversible inverter air/water heat pump, which uses the eco-friendly refrigerant R290. The range consists of 11 models from 29 to 370 kW, also capable of producing chilled water. The 4-Pipe option is available on request, perfect for the simultaneous production of chilled water and domestic hot water with total recovery.

All the advantages of propane

AIC for the Aurax Natural range has chosen R290 refrigerant gas (propane), which offers significant advantages over other less ecological options:

Ecological: With a GWP less than 3 and an ODP of 0, propane does not damage the ozone layer and, compared to traditional refrigerants, contributes negligibly to the greenhouse effect.

Natural: The availability of propane in nature is a significant advantage since it does not require synthesis processes for production.

Efficient: The R290 refrigerant gas delivers an EER up to 12% higher than that of an equivalent heat pump that uses R410A gas.

Safe: The technical measures adopted by AIC in accordance with the directives and regulations in force allow very high safety levels to be met.

Features and benefits of the Aurax series heat pump

ATEX certified semi-hermetic piston compressors category 3G, suitable for use with propane, controlled by inverters to adapt the compressor capacity to the heating or cooling demand.

Source battery with finned pack with copper tubes and aluminum fins with hydrophilic treatment as standard.

EC fans with brushless BLDC motor with permanent magnets, inverter to increase efficiency and reduce the noise level, maximising performance.

Microprocessor electronic control unit for managing water regulation, alarms, automatic defrosting, anti-legionella program and 3-way valve control.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Optimised for maximum heating efficiency
  • DHW production with priority via 3-way valve
  • Hot water production up to 60°C
  • Very low noise
  • Refrigerant Gas R290
  • Atex certified refrigerant gas leak detector and exhaust ventilation
  • Provision for remote management
  • Climate compensation with external sensor as standard

Aurax Eco heat pumps have very low operational noise levels as standard

All Aurax Eco heat pumps have very low operational noise levels as standard. For greater comfort, the enhanced noise reduction option is available, which allows a further reduction in noise by approximately 4-5 dB (A), compared to the standard versions and includes:

AxiTop Diffuser device which increases the efficiency and performance of the fan by reducing noise pollution. Optimal with EC fans for better acoustic performance at partial loads.

Compressor protection cover, 25 mm thick, in polyester fibre and rubber, removable sound-absorbing cover applied to each compressor

Total recovery hot water in summer

The 4 Pipe Option with 4 hydraulic connections is available on request:

n. 2 for air conditioning
n. 2 for domestic hot water production

Aurax Eco with 4 Pipe Option, thanks to a dedicated hydraulic circuit, produces domestic hot water as a priority all year round, with hot water for heating in the winter and chilled water in the summer. In the summer it can simultaneously produce both chilled water and domestic hot water with total recovery, significantly reducing energy costs.

This solution is ideal for all installations where cooling of indoor temperature is required at the same time there is a high demand for domestic hot water, such as hospitals and healthcare clinics, hotels, industrial kitchens, sports facilities or similar buildings.
