How does Fire Tube
technology work?

Condensing DHW systems recover thermal energy from flue gases that would otherwise be lost in conventional appliances. By cooling flue gases below dew point, water vapour condenses and releases additional latent heat, improving overall system efficiency.

AIC water heaters use stainless steel Fire Tube heat exchangers where combustion gases pass through tubes surrounded by domestic water. This design provides a large heat exchange surface, stable DHW temperatures and high output even during intensive hot water demand.

The vertical tube arrangement supports natural condensate drainage and helps reduce deposit build-up, maintaining long-term efficiency while lowering maintenance requirements.
